Support our work
REACH runs on open data and student time, which keeps costs low but does not make them zero. The things we need most are not always money.
Contribute expertise
- Advise a project. Student research is far better when a faculty or senior adviser is attached to it. A few hours across a semester is the single most valuable thing anyone gives us.
- Review methods. Independent methods reviewers check analytical code written by someone else. Statistical, epidemiological, and data-engineering backgrounds all help.
- Mentor a fellow. Career conversations with people who have done this work matter more to undergraduates than most of what we can offer internally.
Open a door
- Data access. Pointing us at a public-use dataset approved for our kind of analysis saves weeks.
- Introductions. An introduction to an organization with a real decision to make is how applied work starts.
- Space and tools. Meeting space, compute credits, and software licenses all reduce what we need to raise.
Financial support
We do not run a donation page. Financial and in-kind support is arranged directly and handled through the authorized university process, and anyone who gives is recorded as a Supporter under our relationship categories.
If you are considering supporting REACH financially, write to us and we will send you the current working budget and what it would fund.
Talk to us
Tell us what you have to offer and we will be straight with you about whether we can use it well.
